Dr. Anup Kalra did his B.V.Sc and AH in the year from Nagpur Veteri nary College and M.V.Sc from College of Veterinary Science, Hisar, Haryana Agriculture University. He worked with Cabinet Secretariat ( SSB), Government of India till 1994 & then joined Dabur Ayurvet in October .He continued his education and is now working as Executive Director, Ayurvet Limited and CEO – Ayurvet Research Foundation and Director AGES. Earlier, he headed the feed business of Ayurvet as its CEO , which is one of the leading Animal Health/Nutrition Care Organization with interest in the allied areas of Soil and Human Health.

He has worked extensively in the field of Animal Nutrition especially cattle and poultry . He is an Editor of the Pashu Swasthya Sansar and Livestock Future. He is an executive member of Rural Marketing Association of India, President CLFMA Delhi & North Zone & recipient of Fellowship of Animal Nutitition Association. He is on the panel of CII, Assocham committees on dairy / Agriculture development and Food Security.Ayurvet Limited is one of India ’s leading animal care organisation specialising in providing 360 degree integrated and innovative solution to the farming community for improving animal health & farm profits.

During his career with Ayurvet, he has worked closely with farmers to share the concept of Ayurveda and its practical application for improving Animal Health . He with help of his seniors revived & developed Hydroponics system in India. He has popularised the use of Ayurveda in Animal Health and Nutrition. This helped the organisation to get the awards from TERI, Golden Peacock, Agriculture, Water Digest, Rajeev Gandhi BIS Award, Quality Council of India , NABARD etc.His current interest involves training and developing the youth, sustainable integration of Livestock with Agriculture with the objective of socioeconomic development and inclusive growth.
